School's History
This history begins with the completion of a contractual agreement between the Ministry of Education Malaysia and the United Construction Company Sdn Bhd on 15 september 2002. The construction works started on 29 May 2001 with the concept of "design and build". It was built on the site of Lot PTD 43462, a 13-acre plentong mukim which covered the main pitch area and 8 acres of grassy areas and the rest was a school-footed site. The name of this school is the extension of the name of the nearby housing estate, Taman Rinting.

Certificate of opening of the school was approved by the Johor Education Director, Yang Berbahagia Tuan Haji Senan b Ibrahim on January 1, 2002. The school handover project was held at the school on 3 January 2002.
Starting from that, the school started operating with the first teacher meeting on January 3, 2002. Registration of new students from nearby schools namely SMK Dato Penggawa Timur, SMK Kota Puteri, SMK Pasir Gudang 1, and SMK Pasir Gudang 2 on 4 January 2002. On the day first school, January 7, 2002, the number of transitional students, form 1 to 4 reaches 570 students with only 10 faculty members. On 16 January 2002, these schoolchildren increased to 780 people and changed slightly until november 2002. The number of classes was as follows:

Two form 4 classes offer an elective subject of additional science, additional account principles and mathematics. While the other three classes are literary flow. The school coordinator, Puan Jamiah Kechut, was appointed Senior Assistant 1 of 14 March 2002 and effective January 1, 2002. HEM Senior Assistant, En Basar bin Marpan, has been in charge until 11 January 2003 and replaced with Pn Hayatunnisa Sapran, effective January 16, 2003. While the principal Datin Hajah Hasnah Mad Sem was in charge of junior 2003. A N9 administrative assistant, 2 private security guards and 3 private cleaners began to work at the school in February 2002. In April 2003, the school received 2 low general assistants PAR), 18 August 2003, an administrative assistant and 4 September of a laboratory assistant.
